TxHAN Emergency Alert Services

The Texas Health Alert Network (TxHAN) replaced the Texas Public Health Information Network (TxPHIN) in November 2021. The TxHAN is used to notify audiences of critical information pertaining to significant public health or medical incidents. These audiences include public information officers; federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial health practitioners; clinicians; and public health laboratories. The TxHAN is also used to notify DSHS staff of activations during public health or medical response events. Details on enrollment into TxHAN  will be included here at a later date.
