The Department of State Health Services, Radiation Control Program, is providing you with an opportunity to comment on the following rule: 

Proposed Rule: §289.229, Radiation Safety Requirements for Accelerators, Therapeutic Radiation Machines, Radiation Therapy Simulation Systems, and Electronic Brachytherapy Devices.

The rule is published in the Texas Register and is open for comment until October 19, 2026.
