Talking with parents, grandparents, and other caregivers about safe infant sleep creates awareness and saves lives.

This toolkit provides guidance to implement the DSHS Let’s Talk – Safe Infant Sleep community training and use the DSHS Safe Infant Sleep toolkit. Toolkit materials help parents make decisions about safe infant sleep practices and safe sleep environments.

Let’s Talk – Safe Infant Sleep builds on what you know about safe infant sleep and moves your work to a model of action. The new approach focuses on an open and honest dialogue between the community trainer and families and caregivers. This training updates and replaces the previous DSHS-developed “Safe Sleep for Babies, a Community Training.”
