State Plan for Streptococcus pneumoniae
DSHS is responsible for developing and implementing the state plan, convening stakeholder meetings, and preparing legislative reports. The current state plan was first created and published in December 2018 and is available on the DSHS website. The state plan encourages a coordinated effort among Texas stakeholders to prevent and treat diseases caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae.
