Transition to Adulthood Learning Collaborative
Please join us for our next (virtual) Transition to Adulthood Learning Collaborative meeting
on May 21, 2024 at 12:00 PM CT.
We look forward to welcoming Angela Standridge, Director of the Texas Technology Access Program (TTAP) who will present “Assistive Technology (AT) and Transition.” Angela will provide a general overview of the TTAP services to support Texans with disabilities, explore supports for appropriate AT devices in K-12 and post-secondary settings, and discuss strategies for end users to advocate for the AT devices and services they need to access community, education and employment services.

Transition to Adulthood Learning Collaborative
The Transition to Adulthood Learning Collaborative (TALC) meets quarterly via webinar. A guest speaker presents on a transition topic. We also share information on upcoming events and new transition resources. All are welcome to join us, including:
- Youth and young adults;
- Parents and caregivers;
- Case managers;
- Health care plan representatives;
- School transition specialists and teachers;
- Hospital and university systems, and
- Local community organizations.
