Travel Reimbursement Requests

Travel reimbursement may be available for conference attendees if travel costs do not exceed DSHS GSA rates. Information about travel reimbursement procedures will be available upon request.

Note: Reimbursement is for actual expenses based on State of Texas policy. Separate Local Health Department travel policies would not apply because you would not be submitting for reimbursement through the Local Health Department.

DSHS Employees: You will need to have travel approved beforehand by routing a Travel Authorization Form, as is standard for travel requests. Visit the DSHS Travel website (only available via DSHS intranet) for details.
