Genetic Services Special Assistance
Genetic services understand that financial issues are often a concern for families. We have provided a few sites and phone numbers of agencies or services that might be able to help you with the finances involved in the treatment of genetic disorders.
Respite is a temporary care for children with disabilities, or chronic or terminal illnesses, and to children who are at risk of abuse or neglect. It gives caregivers and families a break from their efforts. Respite can occur in out-of-home and in-home settings for any length of time depending on the needs of the family and available resources.
