- Environmental swabs must be collected on appropriate swabs used for environmental testing (e.g., 3M™ Quick Swabs or Spongesicle type swabs or equivalent).
- Place food sample in sterile zip-lock or whirlpack bag or other sterile plastic container.
- Store on ice.
