About the Event
The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) is committed to improving the health of Texans through effective, equitable, and safe delivery of healthcare services. DSHS coordinates the annual Healthcare Safety Conference to communicate information to healthcare and public health partners to advance safe and trusted healthcare together.
Purpose
The Healthcare Safety Conference gathers healthcare and public health professionals across Texas. The event shares new information on infection prevention and control training, the state’s healthcare safety initiatives, and emerging public health threats.
Conference Target Audience
Infection control practitioners, quality improvement and patient safety professionals, epidemiologists, data analysts, medical professionals, healthcare administrators, public health partners, and more.
