Beginning in 2013, the Texas
Title V Transition Workgroup members gathered to create the workgroup’s first strategic
plan. An exploration of the workgroup’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities,
and challenges informed the selection of strategic priorities. Next,
stakeholder and family member recommendations assisted in the creation of
specific goals, strategies, and objectives. The resulting Five Year Strategic
Plan is a product of the workgroup’s efforts, and is intended to support
members as they strive to further the mission and vision of the TTVTW.
