Alzheimer's disease is a major public health issue in Texas. An estimated 6.7 million Americans of all ages are living with Alzheimer's disease in 2023.1  In 2020, approximately 400,000 Texans age 65 and older were living with Alzheimer’s.1 Without a cure or a way to slow or prevent it, the number of Americans age 65 and older with Alzheimer's disease is projected to reach 13.8 million people by 2060.1
